Holiday Donation to Svratište Drop-In Shelter in New Belgrade

On the 17th of December, several members of the Charity Committee and the board dropped off donations to Svratiste Drop-In Shelter, which serves many Belgrade children who have limited housing and who are in need of basic services. UNHCR School Backpacks Project

In addition to the Children’s Clothing Donation Project, IWC purchased 26 backpacks and a variety of school supplies. We assembled them for 21 boys and 5 girls, unaccompanied refugee/migrant children. This project was also in partnership with the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees). IWC delivered children’s clothing to the refugee camp Centar za azil Krnjača

On November 1st, 2021, in partnership with the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees), IWC delivered 50 bags of children’s clothing to the refugee camp Centar za azil Krnjača, located outside of Belgrade. UNHCR Children's Clothing Donation Project

At the October coffee morning event, IWC members generously donated children’s clothing for refugee children at camps in Serbia. This effort is led by the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) and IWC was very proud to participate.
