In addition to the Children’s Clothing Donation Project, IWC purchased 26 backpacks and a variety of school supplies. We assembled them for 21 boys and 5 girls, unaccompanied refugee/migrant children. This project was also in partnership with the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees). The funds to purchase the supplies and backpacks came from the IWC charity fund and a generous donation from the Ambassador of Pakistan.
