Andrea Pavukova comes from a small town under the High Tatras in Slovakia. She is married to a Slovakian career diplomat and has an ambitious 16-year-old son and a daughter who is completing her medical degree. Andrea has lived in several cities, including Ankara, where her husband's diplomatic career began, and later in Washington DC and Brussels.
