On November 1st, 2021, in partnership with the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees), IWC delivered 50 bags of children’s clothing to the refugee camp Centar za azil Krnjača, located outside of Belgrade. IWC members donated the clothing as a way to support refugee/migrant children coming to Serbia from countries such as Palestine, Burundi, Syria, and Afghanistan. A number of IWC members toured the camp that day - board members, a Charity Committee member, and several wives of ambassadors.

The group attended activities for women in the Safe Corner for Women supported by the Danish Refugee Council, as well as educational workshops conducted by the Center for Integration of Youth and Save the Children. Sonia Shehryar, president of IWC, said "We can choose when and where we want to move. Refugees, however, have no choice. They are leaving their homes to save their own lives.”

IWC participants in this visit were Sonia Shehryar (Pakistan), Valerie Lane (Canada), Luzia Sebesta Schmid (Switzerland), Barbora Kuchtova (Czech Republic), Natasa Savic (Serbia), and April Scott (USA).
