IWC + L'Oréal Perfume Workshop

We gathered again at our member Radosveta’s beautiful home to discover more about perfumes. In a presentation provided by the Lancome team we learned about the history of perfumery, Lancome’s history of perfume making and the structure of most perfume formulations. We learned the terminology and vocabulary used to describe perfumes which will help us better express our preferences in the future. We also learned about the unique make-up of Lancome’s celebrated “La vie est Belle” and the newcomer to the house “Idole”. Then we moved outdoors to discover each note individually and learn how to layer notes to create our own preferred combination. We all left with a lot more knowledge about perfumes, our own special taste and lovely little goodie bags with Lancome products to try!
