We held our March Coffee Morning event Wednesday, March 3rd at the residence of the Deputy Chief of Mission of the American Embassy.
This was an unusual event for us in that we had to get creative to comply with the pandemic restrictions limiting the size of gatherings of people. Instead of holding a single event in the morning, we held a series of smaller receptions throughout the entire day. Many members, plus a few guests, attended in small groups and were able to sit outside on the patio overlooking the garden in the lovely spring weather.
We are extremely grateful to the DCM’s spouse Elizabeth “Jo Jo” Escobar for opening her home to us for the day-long “coffee marathon”. We are fortunate to also have Jo Jo as a member of IWC.
A special thank you to CorD magazine for providing a photographer for this event.
