The IWC Belgrade Members celebrated this year’s International Women’s Day at a Coffee Morning consisting of a tour of the Museum of Serbian Diplomacy and impactful speeches given by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, and Acting Assistant Minister for Public and Cultural Diplomacy Ambassador Dr. Ljiljana Nikšić.
The ladies were greeted with flowers by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dačić, after which HRH Crown Princess Katherine Karađorđević made a special royal appearance before our members.
Alongside a very unique and interesting tour of the museum, our members had a chance to try various sweets and delicacies inspired by Nikola Tesla’s life, prepared by the international chef, Milijan Stojanić.
We’ve learned a lot about the Serbian diplomatic heritage, recalled and remembered women’s historical impact in the battle for equality, and recognised that the only way forward is in unity and harmony.
The International Women’s Club Belgrade wishes all the ladies a happy International Women’s Day!
