The first regular meeting of the book club took place on Tuesday, November 23rd, 10:00 am, at Colors4U art studio. Members had the chance to enjoy a coffee or tea and some pre-Christmas Gingerbread temptation in an inspiring environment.
The first book to be discussed was The Last Painting of Sara de Vos by Dominic Smith. It was a vivid and lively, yet very respectful discussion that everybody enjoyed. We would like to extend a special thank you to our host, owner of the studio and IWC member Libertad Heredia, for letting us use her studio for our meeting.
Meetings of the book club will be on a regular basis starting in 2022 on the last Tuesday of every month. So, the next meeting will be on January 25th, followed by February 22nd, March 29th, and so on.
The book for our next meeting is All In - An Autobiography by Billie Jean King. A very promising book. February’s book will be Nathan, the Wise by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing.
