Home of Jevrem Grujić - Museums & Sightseeing Group

The Museums & Sightseeing group met Friday, June 19th at the preserved home of Jevrem Grujić, which now serves as a museum. Our guide was an ancestor of Grujić and had many interesting stories to tell. We learned about Grujić's life and family and saw a lot of memorabilia, clothing from that era, and other items of historical significance. After the tour, we were treated to tea and a style of chocolate cake that is a Grujić family recipe served at special occasions even back in Grujić's time. We had a great afternoon.
