IWC MAIN EVENTS
Coffee Morning

We are excited to invite IWC Members to the first Coffee Morning of the year at a unique location at Belgrade Waterfront. Our dear member Luiza Waldrick Eremić, Executive Director of IWC business partner Prohealth as well as Founder and President of the Brazil-Serbia Chamber of Commerce, will kindly host us on a lovely terrace at Hercegovačka 14b on the 2nd floor, the entrance of which is located near the Buddha Bar restaurant.
If you have yet to pay the 2023-24 club fees, you are welcome to bring 8.000 RSD cash or save yourself the queue and pay via bank transfer.

Chill & Chat Ladies Weekend

Soak up the last summer vibes at the gates of Belgrade, this IWC weekend is all about relaxation. JandaLa property is located on a hill above the Danube between two abandoned quarries, across from Krčedinska ada. Located in Krčedin it is easily accessible and less than an hour's drive from Belgrade and Novi Sad. For complete enjoyment in the central part of the property, we will have a swimming pool, a sauna, an outdoor shower and a hot tub, which we can use in all weather conditions. We have several residential units available, each with 2 beds and arrival is possible from Friday afternoon onwards so you can still join after work. For those without a car, we plan to organise carpooling. You can look forward to the following highlights:
- Potluck dinner on Friday evening - bring a dish of your choice to share
- Breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday, lunch on Saturday and some drinks included
- Pilates classes on Saturday and Sunday
- A trip to the island of Krčedin where we will walk, soak in the sounds of nature and visit a monastery
- Visit Manufaktura Spasić - a small family owned private vineyard
Treat yourself to this weekend of relaxation and rejuvination with friends.

Photography Workshop

If you have always wanted to learn how to take great photos with your smartphone and get the most out of the built-in camera, then this workshop is for you. In this workshop, professional photographer Wilhelm von Kahle will not only go into the settings of your smartphone camera, but also give you general tips and tricks for taking photos (lighting, positioning, etc.). In the practical part, you will then apply the knowledge you have gained. It is best to bring something with you that you can photograph (fruit or vegetables, a wooden plate, decorative items, etc.). There are no limits to your creativity.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month worldwide. Every year in October, people around the world show their support for all those affected by breast cancer and raise awareness of this disease that affects millions of women.
This year, to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, IWC Belgrade is holding its Breast Cancer Awareness Day for the second year in a row. In collaboration with Acibadem | Bel Medic and with the support of Minister of Health Professor Dr Danica Grujičić and our generous hostess HRH Princess Katherine, as well as L'Oréal, we will once again join the whole world in wearing the colour pink!
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite members and friends to join us and support this annual campaign to educate and raise awareness in Belgrade.
Prof Cihan Uras and Dr Erdem Güven, specialists from Acibadem | Bel Medic, will be on hand to give an insight into breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Danica Grujičić will grace our event as a guest of honour.
Wear pink and join us to honour survivors, remember those who have died from the disease and support the progress we are making together in the fight against breast cancer!

CHARITY CORNER
Bazaar
A big thank-you to those who have signed up to be Designer and on the Raffle Team! With your help, we are looking forward to making this years Bazaar the best yet.
Volunteers still needed!
As we told you some time ago, our Charity Bazaar will take place on 3 December 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade. The first applications to participate from various embassies have already arrived and the first preparations are underway. To make the Bazaar, which is our most important fundraising event, a complete success again, we need your support!
To put together the Bazaar Committee, we need a Bazaar Coordinator, a Secretary and a Designer, a team for the raffle as well as for the cultural supporting programme and logistics. You can find more detailed information about the individual tasks right below. We also need many helping hands on the day of the event, so keep that day in your diary.
The Bazaar Coordinator heads the Bazaar Committee and is the interface to the Board. She is essentially responsible for the general organisation of the bazaar and has an overview of the individual sections of the committee. Together with our President, she will publicly participate in promotional events and cooperate with the media. In cooperation with the Secretary, she is responsible for communication and correspondence with the participating embassies and is the first contact person for enquiries about the Bazaar. Budgeting and financial matters will be the responsibility of the Board.
The cultural programme team is responsible for organising the cultural programme for the bazaar and is the contact person for the participating groups on the day of the event. The logistics team is responsible for the procurement and the hall plan and coordinates the set-up and dismantling on the day of the event.
