ANNOUNCEMENTS
Au Revoir to our Mid-Month Review
Dear members,
It has been a great pleasure for us to not only prepare our monthly newsletter for you but also to regularly send you an additional mid-month review in which we look back on some of the events and give a glimpse of what is still to come.
After due consideration, we have decided to halt the mid-month review and instead share with you any additions to our current calendar and other important news in our very popular WhatsApp community group and on our Members Only Facebook page. Like this, you will receive to-the-point information and stay up to date about all the exciting new offers we are preparing for you.
Of course, you can continue to look forward to our Newsletter on the 1st of every month, in which we list all upcoming dates and activities in detail and provide you with important information about the club.
Stay tuned for more beautiful memories we cannot wait to make and share with you!
Coffee Morning
We would like to thank our dear member, Luiza Waldrick Eremic, owner of ProHealth and founder of the Brazilian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce for organising this month’s Coffee Morning. The weather served us well as we shared ideas over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at a beautiful terrace at the Belgrade Waterfront.
We warmly welcomed our President candidate, Andrea Pavukova, spouse of the Slovakian Ambassador, and we announced the date for our 2024 Charity Bazaar, which will take place on December 1st at the Hyatt Hotel in Belgrade. We thanked our committed Bazaar Committee and started our call for volunteers. The IWC ladies also had the chance to buy entrance and raffle tickets and were the first ones to hear about this year’s Bazaar special, a multicultural fashion show.
Stay tuned for more information about the 2024 Charity Bazaar on our website's Bazaar section or on this channel soon!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Belgrade Classics - Belgrade Street Art Tour with Artez
October 30th 2024 at 11:00h | Republic Square
Enjoy, discover, and learn about Belgrade through its Street Art scene under the guidance of Artez, one of the leading Serbian street artists and muralists. His work is well known in the global street art scene, creating murals in many countries in Europe, Asia, and South America.
Our tour will focus on Dorćol district, the oldest neighborhood of Belgrade situated alongside Kalemegdan fortress and on the Danube waterfront. These charming narrow streets speak for themselves about the mixture of antique and modern. One of the first murals in Belgrade is still adorning Skadarlija Street, the well-known bohemian quarter of Belgrade. Dorćol, in the past years, has reinvented itself as the new epicenter for culture, art, music, and literature in the city.
We will stumble upon a lot more on our way down to the river and back. Besides graffiti, stencils, and illustrations you will encounter portraits and a few colossal mural collaborations painted during the Meeting of Styles gatherings.
If time, weather, and logistics allow us, we will end our tour at Silosi, one of the trending, cultural, and laid-back places in the city.
