IWC NEWS
After a busy start to the club year we would now like to share with you some facts and figures showing how wonderfully diverse our club has become. This year saw many old members leaving as their time in Serbia came to an end and we were fortunate to be able to accept over 60 new members into the IWC family.
We have had a sharp increase in applicants living permanently here in Belgrade and are currently opperating a waiting list. We will therefore be introducing a new policy in which those members already accepted into IWC must re-apply for membership every 3 years. We hope this will encourage our local representatives to remain active in our group to enable us to continue to thrive in the international community. This will come into affect at the end of the club year.

Your hostess Marija Medan is an entrepreneur, life coach and business consultant, who nurtures her inspiration by supporting women. Be part of a “bigger picture” and join us on Wednesday November 22nd for a more in depth understanding of you who can be. We hope to give you some pleasant moments and invite you to take care of yourself, even when you are taking care of others.

Etno Mreza invites IWC members to a special Holiday exhibition and sale of authentic Serbian handicrafts. There will be Christmas decorations available for purchase, lovingly created by Serbian artisans, along with a wide variety of traditional handicrafts. When you purchase items from the sale, you are not only helping to support and empower women from across the country, you are helping to preserve these traditional Serbian motifs and techniques. Children and guests welcome!

CHARITY CORNER
SWAG
On October 16th the SWAG team gave roughly 30 packages of diapers and 2 full boxes of baby food to the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youth Belgrade. Thank-you once again for your generous donations!
Looking ahead, the Social Work Activity Group has planned a charitable project in time for Christmas to put a smile on children's faces. Once again we will be collecting shoeboxes full of goodies to deliver to children in need (recipient charity tbc). More details will be announced and given out at the coffee morning next week...
Bazaar
Volunteers needed!
Our Charity Bazaar will take place on Sunday December 3rd 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The Bazaar Committee are working hard behind the scenes to make it a complete success again, but we need your support! We need many helping hands on the day of the event so if you feel you can help, even for only one hour, please CLICK HERE!
IWC Merchandise Now Available
IWC are committed to tackling wider environmental issues such as plastic pollution and waste so let's make 2023/24 a year of change in Belgrade. Products now available for purchase with all proceeds going towards the IWC Charity fund. IWC hope to reduce the amount of waste produced by our events and encourage women in their lives outside of our club.
All available merchandise, as well as the IWC Book - "Belgrade Through the Eyes of Foreigners", will be available to purchase by cash and advanced online payment for distribution at the next Coffee Morning.
