Etno Mreža (Ethno Network) invites IWC members to a special Easter Sale on April 4, from 3-6pm at the Canadian residence. Etno Mreža is a non-profit organization that supports women who create authentic Serbian handicrafts using traditional techniques. Drop by, bring a friend, and show your support for these talented women - all while getting your Easter shopping done! Children welcome!

This new series of events HealthTalk @ Bel Medic in collaboration with Acibadem | Bel Medic will be held regularly on various health topics. Join us for the first discussion on thyriod gland disorders with Dr. Tijana Dangubić, endocrinologist from Acibadem | Bel Medic. Learn more about hormones that thyroid gland secretes, changes of structure and type of dysfunction of the thyroid gland, how to recognize the problem, when to see a doctor and how thyroid diseases are treated.
The thyroid gland is a small butterfly-shaped gland located at the front of the neck. Its function is very important for the body because it secretes hormones that affect the work of other glands and the function of the whole body. The thyroid gland affects the metabolism, growth and development of children, the work of the heart, sexual function, the work of the brain, the metabolism of glucose, fat, calcium, and pregnancy.

Our dear President Eun Hai, invites IWC Members to experience “Flavours of Mexico” at the Residence of Mexico in Dedinje. Here we will be treated to a presentation of Pinata as well as get the chance to attempt to break the Pinata ourselves. We will then have a lesson in Mexican folk dance before tasting an array of delicious Mexican treats!

Art Group: Easter time - Creative Egg Holders

In the beautiful studio Colours4U, we will celebrate Easter time. In this workshop we will make creative egg holders with different shapes and forms. After making them, we will personalize them and paint them....and we will have fun!

Viminacium Tour
26.04.23 from 09:00 to 15:00 | 96.3 km from Belgrade | 1hr 18min
One of the most important Roman sights in this part of Europe. This archaeological site used to spread on 440 hectares and it was the capital of the Roman province Upper Mesia. Viminacium flourished between the 1st and 4th century a.d. And from a military camp (Castrum) became one of the biggest cities where east meets west. Many interesting archaeological sites were found such as Roman necropolis, antic baths, amphitheaters and also some rare frescoes are preserved there. We will stop in Mammoth Park to see the exhibition Mammoth Vika whose fully preserved skeleton is one of the few in the world.
- The cost of transportation will be divided among participants
- Entrance and English guide fee 660 dinars per person. The tour will start at 11 am and it will last one and a half hours.
- Bring your lunch and we will have a picnic after the tour.

The walking group is taking a walk inside the Red Star Belgrade Stadium (Crevna Zvezda). On the 27th of April 2023 at 10:00 am we will walk the football players’ journey towards the field, the tunnels from & to the changing rooms, TV/media corner and every nook and cranny of the stadium which spectators are not given the privilege to experience except for from the spectators chairs and the museum. At 10am we will meet up in front of the stadium, at the statue of Rajko Mitić. The Public Relation, Aleksandra and her colleague will guide us first inside the museum, to the VIP lounge and the walk continues.
The walk is about 3 km and we will climb lots of steps. So please dress appropriately, no skirts and dresses, no heels but only comfortable sports shoes and long pants. If you have anything red do come in Red & White. The visit will last about 2hrs to 2.5hrs. We will end our tour with some coffee and cake specially made for IWC by HomeMade Company at their VIP Lounge. We might meet the Crvena zvezda Female Football Team too on this day. The walk is open to all international friends and non IWC members.

Weekend Trip to Kozarska Dubica & Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina
5-7th May 2023 | Bosnia and Herzegovina | Zepter Hotel, Dubica
The walking group is planning a weekend trip from the 5th - 7th May and we will depart at 9am in the morning from Sava Center (the same side with Crowne Plaza). From Belgrade we will make a stop over at Banja Luka where we will enjoy lunch at their famous restaurant KAZAMAT https://restorankazamat.net/ We will enjoy our lunch on their great terrace overlooking the river Vrbas followed by a city tour to visit the Kastel Fortress, Ferhadija Mosque, Gospodska Street, Vrbas River: The Vrbas River runs through Banja Luka, and it's a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Besides that we will take some time to visit Banja Luka City Museum which is located in the historic center of the city. We will see the Banski Dvor Cultural Center and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
During this weekend, we will be staying in the stylish Zepter Hotel in Kozarska Dubica. We will walk, hike, sail in boats and wine & dine during this weekend. For those who wish to enjoy the hotel facilities, there are hot tubs, massage treatments, saunas and steam baths (some at an extra charge). The hotel also has a fitness area and a beauty shop. On Saturday, after the walk, hike and sailing we will be rewarded with dinner and wine tasting at Banjac Winery with 5 different wines, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, muscat ottonel, traminac & pinot noir.
There is space for only 12-15 persons. This trip is for members, friends, guests and non IWC members. An important note to those interested - A valid passport is needed on this trip!

Holistic Group: Gong QI
Mondays | Senjak
IWC Member Christina is offering regular QI Gong sessions in her apartment in Senjak - every Monday from 8:30-9:30 in the morning. Everyone who is interested can join. The cost of one session (4.800rsd) will be divided among the people attending the class. The classes are held by Sasa Balaneskovic, who held a few classes with the IWC ladies both in the holistic approach group meetings as well as teaching on weekend trips to Tara and Vrnjacka Banja.
