Members of the IWC Belgrade visited the Atelje 61 tapestry design studio in Novi Sad, which sits atop the fortress overlooking the Danube River. We watched tapestries being made, detailed and luxurious individual artistic pieces that can take up to 3 years to complete. After visiting several other artist studios, we had a lovely lunch at Aqua Doria restaurant right on the banks of the river.
After lunch we strolled through the Novi Sad city center and enjoyed ice cream and coffee. The weather was warm and sunny for this fun outing and we all had a great time. Many thanks to Robert Čoban, publisher of the magazine Diplomacy & Commerce, for organizing this trip for the IWC. Thanks also to photographer Adrian De Groot for his wonderful images.
