The IWC continues to collect gently-used, clean clothing to donate to various institutions. During the month of March IWC members donated clothes and shoes that are clean and wearable. Volunteer memebers sorted through the donations to fit the needs of eah supported institution. The first delivery was on March 21st to Drop In shelter for streets children (Svratiše).

Every day, between 80 and 100 children from the age of 5 to 15 years old, visit Svratiše (Drop-in Shelter) to eat, change their clothes and do their homework. These children, who live and work mainly on the streets, are always in need of warm clothes and shoes. The visit also served to highlight other items that the Svratište needs, in order to care for the children: school supplies, hygiene products, toilet paper and various other basic items.

The IWC board will discuss ways of collecting the necessary items and communicate with our members soon.
