The IWC participated in the annual Belgrade Boat Carnival on Saturday August 28th at Belgrade Waterfront.
While we had a nice-looking booth promoting our book "Belgrade Through the Eyes of Foreigners", and volunteers to staff the booth, the rain kept most visitors away. Still, there were baton twirlers, a marching band, a historical battle reenactment group, a live rock and roll band, and other entertainers. Also, some great boats parading on the water, all decorated for the festival. Hopefully next year the weather will be more cooperative.
