We held our first coffee morning event of the 2021-2022 club year on Wednesday September 8th. An unexpectedly large number of members attended this event. Eighty people in total were on our list which included 14 guests. Due to Covid-19, we had to decline attendance to a number of people after the 6th of September and for that we apologise.
There were many ladies from the diplomatic community in attendance. Our president, Sonia Shehryar, hosted the event at her residence, home of the Pakistani ambassador. Sonia addressed the ladies, sharing interesting facts about Pakistan, welcoming new members, and thanking many people for their contributions to the IWC and to the book the club published to raise money for charities, Belgrade Through the Eyes of Foreigners.
There were several giveaways to lucky attendees. Prizes were donated by Hotel Moskva, Imaginarium, Burgerly Hills restaurant, and the embassy of Pakistan.
