We had a great time on September 29 on the sunset boat tour. We had a mix of IWC members, family, and friends. It was a little windy at first but this was not a problem because the boat was enclosed with large windows so we could see the sights easily. There were also spaces outside in the open air for those who preferred being outside. The English-speaking guide gave many interesting details about Belgrade and Zemun. And the sight of the lights of Belgrade, Zemun, the bridges, and Belgrade Waterfront slowly coming on in the dusk light was quite beautiful.

Soft drinks and rakija were served to passengers and people seemed to appreciate that hospitality. There’s nothing quite like being on the water enjoying nature and the splendor of the Danube and Sava rivers. Afterwards we all went to dinner at Toro Gastro Bar and had a great time.

Special thanks to Adrian de Groot for the use of a number of his lovely photos.
