The Walking Group - Kalemegdan, Beton hala and Belgrade Waterfront

Last week the walking group took a walk in Kalemagdan park, around the fortress and all the way to Beton hala and Belgrade Waterfront. We enjoyed the good view of Belgrade with Sava and Dunav river combined. It was nice walking around without any crowd. We walked towards Beton hala and had lunch at Belgrade Waterfront. Walking Group - From Sava River to Danube

The walking group took a walk, a total of 8km, from Belgrade Waterfront all the way to the end which lead us to Dorcol. We were blessed with sunshine, blue skies, and pleasant weather. The Walking Group - Walk in Hyde Park

The walking group took a walk in Hyde Park last Thursday 3/12/20. There were 4 of us and we fought the strong wind and coldness like warriors We decided to walk in Hyde Park this time round because this park is a green oasis of Belgrade. The Walking Group - Danube Quay and Zemun

On November 3rd, the walking group walked along the Danube in the Zemun area. We did 11 000 steps from 09:45 - 13:00 including a coffee break at Reka. We met up at the parking area opposite Planet Bike next to Hotel Yugoslavia. There were 5 humans & 1 dog. The weather was slightly cloudy when we started. The Walking Group - Cycling & Walking

On September 18th, the Walking Group did a cycling tour of Ada lake and the island. We went off the beaten path into the woods and ended up on the back side of the island where there are many picturesque floating vacation homes on the Sava River, accessible only by a special unpaved road. We covered a lot of ground and had great fun. Some of us stayed at Ada for lunch.

The Walking Group - Košutnjak

On the 26/11 we walked and explored the Košutnjak park-forest. It is a great green oasis in the middle of the Serbian capital city. There were 6 ladies plus two 4-legged animals (Lotta & Archy) on this walk. We were again lucky, it was a dry day and the sun shone on us. The Walking Group - Kalemegdan

We had our walking session on the 5th of November. We walked around Kalemegdan Park, where we spent about 2 hours exploring the sights. It is the largest and probably the most beautiful park in the city. It is a cherished spot, favored by many Belgradians who come here all through the year for its green expanses, tree-lined paths, monuments and cultural attractions.
