NGO Christian Humanitarian Association “Bread of Life” (BOL) was formed as a result of the response to the humanitarian needs of refugees from Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and internally displaced people (IDPs) from Kosovo in the 1990s. The initiative to help victims of the civil war, over the years, developed toward social service with the mission to contribute to the well-being of the population through the care and support of vulnerable and poor members of society.

BOL’s project “Humanitarian aid, workshops for families with people with dementia” targets this year specifically 30 families with a family member suffering from dementia/Alzheimer’s for at least 3 years. Work will be conducted through tribunes, information desks, direct education, and various workshops for family members - caretakers of those with dementia. It will also include the distribution of diapers for dementia sufferers.
