The International Women’s Club of Belgrade held its first coffee morning event of the year 2022 on February 3 rd hosted graciously by the Marriott hotel at the CREDO restaurant . November Coffee Morning/High Tea

The IWC’s November event, which took place on the afternoon of Tuesday November 16th, was a High Tea rather than the usual Coffee Morning. It was held in the luxurious Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Belgrade. Approximately 80 members and their guests were in attendance. October Coffee Morning

The International Women’s Club, Belgrade held its second Coffee Morning today on the terrace at Belgrade waterfront. The event was attended by over 60 IWC members and some guests. It was generously hosted by the ProHealth clinic. On this occasion IWC donated clothes and school supplies to the UNHCR, an international NGO that provides assistance and support to refugees in Serbia. September Coffee Morning at the Residence of the Ambassador of Pakistan

We held our first coffee morning event of the 2021-2022 club year on Wednesday September 8th. An unexpectedly large number of members attended this event. Eighty people in total were on our list which included 14 guests. Due to Covid-19, we had to decline attendance to a number of people after the 6th of September and for that we apologise. On Wednesday June 2 nd , we held our June Coffee Morning event at the residence of the American ambassador. The event was highlighted by a visit from guest of honor, Madame Vučić. Our newly-elected president Sonia Shehryar, wife of the Pakistani ambassador, spoke to a crowd of nearly 100 IWC members, guests, and other spouses of ambassadors. The May event was the yearly General Assembly business meeting for IWC Belgrade. It was held on May 11th at the residence of the Swedish ambassador. In addition to reviewing a number of reports, including the financial and charity reports, the attendees voted to elect our new president and vice president, Sonia Shehryar and Myriam Laroche respectively. We held our March Coffee Morning event Wednesday, March 3rd at the residence of the Deputy Chief of Mission of the American Embassy. This was an unusual event for us in that we had to get creative to comply with the pandemic restrictions limiting the size of gatherings of people.
