Book club members met on March 30th at the new Colors4U studio to discuss Lessing's play, Nathan the wise. Although set in 12th century Jerusalem and written in 18th century German, the group’s very animated discussion focused on a wide range of current issues wholly relevant to modern women. These included the role of women through history, different experiences of women in different cultures, and women and childbearing. The whole theme of religion and society was also covered. And would you believe, all with lots of laughter, teas, coffees and cookies!!

If an IWC member is ever interested in one particular book, they would always be welcome to just come along for the conversation about that book, on the scheduled date. Please contact Norberta O’Gorman to learn more: norbertaogorman@gmail.com
