On April 28th a rather big group of our members visited the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the Balkans.

We had a very qualified guide who took us through the permanent excibition in the Museum. We learned something about the history of the region, movement of slavic people, specially serbian tribes, and how their way of life changed through the centuries. The focus was on the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. We saw beautiful traditional costumes and dresses in vivid colors, the housing, and the tools for hunting and fishing. It was a wonderful experience and we hope everyone enjoyed it and learned something new.
